    creating a new tab?????

    Hello,

We are trying to create a tab with our monthly sales history in it under accounts.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

     Thanks,

    April

I think you missed the word "discuss" in this post !!

Seriously, this is a fairly open-ended question and not sure if you mean (a) I have no idea how to create a tab or (b) I've no idea where the data is or (c) I don't know either (a) or (b).

As God said to the Jew praying to win the lottery "Help us here, buy a ticket" !

    Regards
    Mike

    Re: creating a new tab?????

Sorry I guess I didn’t make my question very clear...  I spoke with my saleslogix rep last week and he told me that I can actually create a tab for our sales history that would be displayed under the more tabs option in the accounts view.  I never received the architect manual so it has been a real struggle to learn how to change things.  I was hoping that someone would be able to give me the instructions on how to do this.

    Thank you,

    Re: creating a new tab?????

    Hi April

The actual process of creating the tab is fairly easy. Go into Architect. From the menu select Contact Form (if you want it under accounts select accounts form). Then, this will open a new form and you simply add what you need on the form. Then, save and press F10 to release it. It then appears under more tabs when you do a ctrl-F5.

However, of course, the objects you select to put on the form (controls such as datagrid, labels, edit boxes etc.) are what make up the form and to describe them here in one short response if, as you can imagine, fairly impossible. Suggest you get back to your rep and get some classroom training as, without it, you will struggle and - besides, you'll get a manual too !

    Regards
    Mike
