Missing Functionality? Help May Be On The Way!

Service Packs for SalesLogix v7.2

If your company has upgraded to SalesLogix v7.2 and you feel as though a few things are missing, you could see an improvement before the end of this year.  Recently I came into possession of the Service Pack release schedule for the rest of the year and I thought I'd share it with you:

  • SalesLogix 7.2.1, Service Pack 1 - ETA: Mid October.  SP1 will bring right-mouse click menus, development wizards, enhanced entity management, and usability enhancements such as a new toolbar, font modifications, resized areas, etc.
  • Leads Bundle for SalesLogix Web - ETA: Mid November.  This bundle will give the Web Client complete Lead functionality which is currently found in the LAN (Local Area Network) client, including the ability to import and convert to contacts.
  • SalesLogix 7.2.2, Service Pack 2 - ETA: Mid December.  SP2 will bring back web viewer licenses, many more usability enhancements, an increased extensibility model for the Application Architect, and much more!

As you can see, if you're using SalesLogix v7.2 there is much to look forward to!

About Brianna Tinjum

I am happy to say I love my job! Everyday there is a new challenge and something new to learn, it keeps things interesting. I was very happy when we started Good Training because it gave me an opportunity to help people and share knowledge. Outside of the office I enjoy being active. When weather permits you may catch me riding my bike around the lakes of Minneapolis or hiking in Northern Minnesota. In the winter I get out snowboarding as much as possible and I always try to take a trip to the mountains. I made it out to Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, MT at the end of February 2008 and it was a fantastic time! Year round I participate in dance and yoga classes to mix things up. I love watching movies and you could say I may have seen too many. :) I also have a passion for reading - if I find a good book it can consume all of my free time.
